Those running boards are repros. The rest of the parts look to be in decent shape.

Funny thing is the most reasonably priced items are the front fenders for $100 each. If they even resemble front fenders, not completely rusted away they would be worth more than that. Door, which are a lot easier to find than fenders, he want $150 apiece for them completely gutted. Also the hood, which are about as plentiful as doors, maybe more, he wants $450 for. Hoods are usually worth $200, at most.

At $100 apiece, the doors are probably already gone.

Originals are not on a single plane - they scale the frame and attach under the bed/behind the cab. The repros are parallel-edged panels that are easier to make.

Like the boxes, Ford changed the design of the running boards somewhere around the mid '50 year. The later boards didn't have the flange that went under the cab of the trucks. The did the same with the shorty boards on the flat bed trucks.

Yup. Bob is correct. The boards with the extra flanges are earlier.

Not too good , when I got home tonight she was in one her moods, and not a good one. You guys know what I mean, for some reason she giving me the silent treatment. I guess I'll eventually find why. Until the. She went to bed and I have the TV to myself.
