That's where I'll be that weekend. Primitive camping $5/night.

Joe, I drive the '61 regularly. As a matter of fact, since I took over the shop I've rebuilt the rear suspension and re-done the bed floor.
I just don't have the Scotty anymore, we upgraded to an '88 Sportscoach Class A. I posted a pic a while back. My wife wanted a bathroom.
That's right, I forgot you got a bigger camper.. We're going to be looking for something bigger in the next few years too.

I'm game for anything in the state, but as far as having the GTG at the campsite, isn't that area going to be really busy?

That's the whole point. Keeps the wife and kids busy whilst we sit around BS'ing.
Ok, I'll admit, it's not for everyone, but if your wife likes craft shows it's worth the trip sometime. The fall show is like twice as big as the spring show. They always fly a news chopper over the grounds and show us on TV.

My favorite time is after closing the booth at 5pm. I usually go back to the camp and sit outside and have a beer while watching the parking lot empty. I've gotten a lot of dirty looks from husbands who'd rather be sitting with me than in the car with their tired and testy spouse facing a drive home.

Ditto.. probably a bad idea on mothers day weekend..

Ok, that leaves the 18th as the last possibility.. the 25th is Memorial Day weekend so thats out..

Otherwise we're gonna have to pick the 4th or the 11th.

I think the truth is Wally, you want/need us to support your habits and your trying to sucker a couple of us into coming up there to spend a little $$$ at your booth. I'm on to you Mr. Anti-Diesel, I maybe slow and it took me a while to figure out it out...but I'm onto your evil scheme.

While I agree a GTG during Mother's Day weekend might not go over really well, at the same time get them out of the house could be a good thing. Mine (wife) is wanting to go camping...though with the 5th wheel it isn't exactly roughing it. Right now we're still open all four weekends...but that's subject to change as we get closer to that month.

As far as I can tell it is open Been working on the place at Moro Bay again, so weekends are spent there if no other plans are conflicting.
