7 Lug wheel torque?
Hate to bother you all but I am doing a full shock replacement. Got ready to put the wheels back on and NO TORQUE SPEC anywhere. Looked in the owners manual - nothing. Have a Ford service manual and is so complex cannot find the specs anywhere in there. They quote 12 and 14 mm nuts but mine are 19 mm (measured with a socket). I have a 2001 Supercab XL with the 7700 package. There are 7 lugs NOT 5. Does anyone know what the torque spec on these should be? THANKS..

From what I am reading it looks like 150 ft/lbs for our trucks.
Edit: Thanks Mawk. See Mawks correction below and Make that 100 ft/lbs. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/in...rque.html#ford

DON'T TORQUE IT TO 150FT/LBS.
Though yours is a 7700, it has the smaller lugs and stud.
You have the 12mm threads (studs) for your 19mm (head size) lugnuts which calls for only 100ft/lbs.
If you had the 14mm stud thread, and 21mm head, then it'd be 150 ft/lbs.
Here's an old thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ut-torque.html
I hope that saves you some grief and money.
