Tempting...

It's been almost two years since I traded my '11 F350, and as I'm sure you can all imagine I miss the truck badly. While at the dealer getting some tire issues taken care of with my Excursion I got to drool all over this:

New 2012 Ford Super Duty F-250 SRW 4WD Supercab 142 For Sale in Wilbraham | MA Ford Dealer - 1FT7X2BT0CEA99360

REALLY tempting...it's a leftover 2012 they are selling for $10K off!

Having a super cab, I would rather have a crew cab now but I still like my truck.
The back isn't too useful, in my opinion.

But... DO IT! It's even the color if your 2011.

Of course, only you know what reasonable decisions can be made.

If it doesn't have the helper springs, the *** end sag will drive you crazy.

Fought that problem with my Excursion due to the notoriously weak springs. Airbags installed, problem solved!

I got quite a bit more than 10k off sticker on my 2012 last June. If you do it...I'm sure they will go much lower than that! Good luck man!

Let me help you with the decision...you can't use it.

You have small kids and need to crewcab for the car seats.

Now...just to find one of those.

Tom, I'm happy you're looking for a truck but I have to agree with Scott, you need a crew cab.
We are on it, we will be on the lookout for you.
I hope your little girl is doing well.

Thanks Gavin! You and Scott are correct, I do need a crew cab if I were to get a new truck, so I should probably keep looking.

She's not.

She was admitted to the hospital on Monday and it looks like she'll be there into next week at the earliest.

Wow Gavin, lots of nostalgia going on around here. That truck looks nearly identical to my last one:

They want way too much for it though. It's a leftover 2012...in June 2010 I paid $45,700 for mine which had an MSRP of within $1,000 of that one. Balise Ford is giving $10K off that SuperCab.

Yeah, carseats are not going to work back there.
Your only option would be one carseat up front with the passenger airbag disabled.

Honestly the best answer is to stay content with my Fusion and Excursion due to all the issues we're having with the kids. Hannah has to travel with a ventilator, oxygen, feeding pump, and a couple other bags, and so limited space really doesn't work for her. And on Wednesday our three year old was diagnosed with autism, which adds another layer of craziness to our lives.
