Converting ball joints to king pins

That would require swapping out the axles, there is no practical way to replace ball joints with king pins..

Not sure how comparable the old I beam axles are from a 70's truck? Would they bolt in?
There again, why?? The ball joints are there because they are easier to maintain and replace. If you have ever dealt with king pins, you know why. If you really need them to be stronger, it's time for a stronger truck.

This is direct bolt in deal, you will have to find a 1980-81 F100/F150, those had King Pins, and is the only 2 years they had them on half tons.
You'll need to swap the axles, it is direct bolt in though.
This is something I'm going to do sooner or later to my '89 F150 as i'm swapping a 6.9 Diesel in it in the years to come. Ball joints won't live near as long as King pins will with that sitting on them.
