Fuel line quick connects. are they letting air in?
Am adding electric fuel and looked at the tank selector for the first time and saw all the quick connect fittings. Are these the ones that can let air in on the suction side of the pump?
Years ago there was a big discussion on this, about 50 50 split. After that discussion I coated my connections with silicon, don't know if it did any good or not.
I was thinking that I read somewhere that the orings on the quick connects are great for sealing under normal pressures but when you drawing a vacuum/negative pressure the orings allow air to leak past into the fuel. For giggles I might try some clear line before the pump for a week or so to see what it looks like.
