It's a God given right for dogs to chase cats.
What is a strat? I'm thinking some kind of dog?
Maybe a Gator? IDK Had a 350 # pig that
hated cat's. She ate them.

If the cat stands its ground, my lab will ignore it.

If it runs, the chase is on.

My Labs classify cats and little toy dogs in with the "squirrel and rabbit" class...........just something to be chased and fetched.

RIP Bullet...Quickest cat out of several I've had.

RIP Spike...It was all about the ball.
Jackson...Frisbee acrobat.
Bella...All about antagonizing(trying to herd) Jackson & Spike, with a ball or Frisbee in her mouth.

Hello Gerry,

Bullet was just a normal size cat, Doll Face Persian/Siamese mix. She was the quickest out of the litter and kept true to her name through her life.

Bella is an Australian Shepard, and, Jackson is Australian Shepard/Queensland Heeler Mix.

Best and funny memory of Spike(Miniature Dachshund) was, our previous house was on a hill in the mountains (no grass). I would throw the ball, not uphill or downhill, but cross the hill. Spike would get the ball, bring it back, but he would go uphill from me about 10-15 feet and would let the ball go (trying to roll the ball to me). If it didn't roll to me but past me downhill, he would run downhill, retrieve ball, run uphill from me and try it again (tail wagging as fast as it could). Sometime this would happen a few times before he would get the ball to roll directly to me so I can throw it again.

Roger that.
Whats really funny is her take on the noises coming out of the fridge. Sounds like a cage-match going on in the crisper drawer.
4 lobsters enter.....4 lobsters leave .........for dinner.
