You sure have a short memory Pat.... 67 Galaxie.
I'm definitely tired of the frost cycling. The mud was what was getting to me. My lane is in bad shape due to the repeated freeze/thaw this year. I don't have heat in the shop, so it is even better now that I don't really need it...

Hi Roger! I wanted to hear what he had in it, and such. You sure that's a galaxie? Looks almost like a Fairlane! Tough to see in that little pic, though. Nice coming in today with temps above freezing, should be 70 here today and tomorrow.

I know he was running it when Newton was doing the Friday night drags on the pit road... lol. Haven't heard much more. Managed to catch up with him there one weekend. I'll let him tell about the car, as I don't fully remember, and would rather have it told right. Thinking FE...

Skating competition today and tomorrow, then try to get one or both cars put back together... Heads ended up being warped on the Malibu, so lucky I have a spare engine with a bad bottom end... I had kept it for the potential of needing the heads. Fuel pump is scheduled to be delived to day for the daily beater, then finish putting that car back together. Got the timing cover gasket replaced, should take care of the leak.

Those 3.1's have a common issue with intake gasket failures dumping antifreeze into the oil. He apparently never pulled the dipstick to see the chocolate oil. He tried driving it the 25 miles home.
