1964 E100 Ex-Army Truck..6cly, 3 speed..Another Shop Toy

Thinking of having it lettered US ARMY, Tribute truck to my Buddy Roy, Bronze Start Medal winner, 4 tours in Nam, Helo pilot......Kick the nose up a bit, Loud muffler with daul pipes and some mags.....What do you think???? I got it home today, doing a few small things on it in the shop....

That thing is SWEET!!! Nice buy

One thing i never understood i why alot of ford trucks have the ignition to the left of the steering wheel?

I drive an old ford 24' box truck and everytime i start it im stabbing the key all over and finally remember the ignition is on the left side!!!

Only changing Wheels....maybe pull a leaf or two or three.....fix whats missing, install a stereo, and a soft clamp on bed cover......Got the bugs work, she's running good, good heat, but gotta clean up the wiring, bolt the rear bumper down, and bolt the class II trailer hitch tight....having a star painted on it, with Roy's Unit number and name on it.......Thanks for the kind words....but might have to keep it in my toy box for a while....

Was in the Navy, '77-'81, On a Carrier. Temp duty sent me to drive a Ford Van for jail transfer from the civilian lock-up to brig, and vice-versa. The van was stolen from the motor pool. 4 months later, we are patrolling the base and I see a van at pier 12. 'That's MINE!' My shipmate said I was crazy, as there are hundreds of them around.

I told him to go up to it and check the glove-box. Sure enough, fuel receipts signed by me...
Can't recall the year of the van, but close to the year of this one. And, haze grey...
