Unusual Door Find
Well I'm still having fun with my door installation joib. Got my passenger side door installed and adjusted to the point where my brother and I were happy with the lines. This was a replacement door so figured that the original driver's door would be a snap.
Installed the door latch mechanism. Not a problem. Now for the window mechanism. Got the four scews ready BUT only three holes instead of the four like on the other door!! WTF ?
Maybe it got bondoed over? Nope. No rust or dents up here. Huh ??
So I felt inside and there is a post ?? Removed the captive nut and cage at this point on the window mechanism and in it went with three screws holding it in, seems to work okay. Anyone come across this?
