and where might these filters be found? and are they user replaceable? My seats don't seem to work very well...
Yes they are user replaceable, but a complete waste of money. If you move the seat to its highest position and get a flashlight and look under the seat from the back you will see a circular white filter mounted to the seat heater module.
I highly doubt if your seats aren't working well that the filter is the problem. Usually the module or the control unit is to blame. My filters are as clean as the day the truck was made ( 2008 ) so unless you live in a super dusty area and never vacuum the interior don't expect the filters to make a difference in the performance of the seats.
No cabin air filters on Expeditions.
The only interior filters would be on the heated/cooled seats if you have them.

Matt, clear. Yet I do not understand how the air intake gets filtered. There is plenty of dust and dirt outside. Moreover it did exist on older models....
