Does anyone know of a trick to whiten up the old reserviors. I have to complete sets and....I am trying to take the best of the two both reserviors are faded yellow..

They've yellowed with age. There is no way to whiten the plastic unless ya paint 'em.

 

Mine is doing the same thing i was thinking of getting a new reproduction one, not sure of how good they are.

 

I just bought a new one from LMC. It's actually a factory Ford part. I was not happy with the quality; it showed up as two separate pieces with hot glue strewn throughout. I'm sending it back tomorrow.

 

Sorry to hear that FMC400, I have heard that about LMC and I am real leary about buying anything from them.

I would be happy to just get the tank my top is still good.......I guess the best way to mount the top is to run a small bead of silicone in the lid???????
