What Is This?!?!?!
I was asking what people make custom consoles out of, this is the material I was talking about. I have no idea what it's made out of, looks like painted steel?

Probably MDF covered with fiberglass.
It could be steel too but with the way it's molded into the back I would guess fiberglass. Either that or somebody is one talented metal shaper!

I should of said MDF covered with fleece, fiberglass resin and a few gallons of body filler to smooth it out.
