1948-50 rear cab corner patch question

My LR corner just arrived from Dennis Carpenter. I was hoping it would have the bottom 'lip', but it does not.
I do believe 'Reamer's' patch panels have the lip (trying to contact him).
Is there another source for a patch with the lip? or do they all come from the same source?
Thanks

Not meaning to hijack, but since the topic came up is it necessary to keep the factory lips when replacing both corners or can you smooth it? My patches didn't include this area either.

I ordered a left cab corner from C&G and it had the lower lip. BUT, when I opened the package I realized it came from DC??? Go figure?

It isnt necessary, but in my case the lip is in bad shape.

I was able to track one down from Reamer

It might be a little more work, but you could always weld a lip on. My 52 had rotted out on the passenger rear where the cab indents and goes up over the frame. I had to cut out the outside piece and then only realized that the back piece was gone too, so I had to replace all the metal there, I fabricated my own metal patch panels but incorporated the lips into the pieces so that they matched back up to the original piece. May be a little more work but if you have a welder handy and the skills available, it could be done.

Then again, if your like me, why do more work to the piece when you've already payed out the wazoo for it to be there in the first place lol. Best of luck.
