I sold my 04 Superduty to a friend 3 years ago, and the friend told me recently that it started knocking and he thinks its the Wrist Pin, I don't know much about the 6leaker, other than the fact they sound amazing piped, whats common to go wrong causing a knock?
I am buying it back fir $3000 soon, and want to drop a P-pumped 12v in, but for the budget, would consider fixing the 6leaker if that's even possible without having to worry about honing or anything too in depth.
So now it just has a Knock?? But runs OK or Blowing Smoke???
It was never hydrolocked, i bought it from an older gentleman who couldn't shift it anymore, and i only romped it a few times, it runs per my friend, but he didn't say anything bout excessive smoke, i think i know what you're getting at, bad injector(s).
Just got off the phone with my friend, and he started it so i could hear it, add this 6.0 to the RIP list, he got a faulty FICM code from it but thats it, but the noises coming from that motor are cylinder scarring.
