Nice. I'm in the same process myself. I didn't take my '78 250 apart as much as you, that's a lot of hours you've put in. I like the last pic....luckily we had a pavilion added onto our barn so i've had the luxury of parking it under there where its out of the weather a lot more. Good luck!

Nice looking project. My box floor looks just like yours did, I'll be rebuilding/ welding in a flat floor in mine when the snow finally leaves

yeah, got quite a bit of time in the Ferd, I got a set of 37's, they are on the back now, I just painted the inside of my front clip, I have to paint my front axle, press in new drive shaft u-joints, bend new front brake lines, and put my 73-77 grille on the truck and it'll be good to go. Just have to bolt up the front clip and bed. Filthy Beast-It's a 3 inch body lift on top of the 4inch suspension, definitely gonna be interesting around corners haha

Who did the rearend swap? That rearend isnt stock. Looks like a semi float 60. Weaker than the stock fullfloat 60.

What spring did you put on the rear? I was noticing the shackle angle on the passenger side. do you feel the springs are a little short? or do you think it will straighten up with more weight added?

Nice thread !! on your pic of the transfer case are the brackets and rubber assembled correctly? Oh I see you just have it sitting there, no crossmember or frame to transfer case bracket .. Never mind Keep up the good work

Crazyredneck- I didnt swap out the rear axle, what's there was there when i got it. I guess i find out how heavy duty it is when I take it in the woods!

Chris989- I also didn't pick those springs out, i just cleaned up the ones that were on there. They sat at a good level before i tore the truck apart

Little more progress this weekend. Still have some stuff to figure out with the wiring. I'm trying to get everything hooked up, it was all pretty rigged when i got it as was everything else on it.

 

Look good!! But, I have a question, its a F-250 but the front of the frame has the F-150 "Bull horns" for the front bumper, did you cut some off on a F-150 and put them on your truck?
