steering binding??

My truck truck started acting weird the other day. You pull out around a corner and sometimesthe wheel doesnt come back on its own and I have to grab the wheel and pull it back. Well today on my way to work just going around for corners during regular driving t seems like the truck randomly starts pulling to one side or the other and when I put tension on the wheel it jerks in that direction all the sudden. I came around a corner when I was almost to work and I had to fight it back and forth till I got to work. 2 guys I work with both say power steering pump. They both had 05's and both describe a similar problem. I can't see anything loose. Power steering reservoir is low and I will stop the first place I come across and top it off. Any ideas?

Occasional ront brake drag to the pulling side would also do that.

It pulls to either side randomly. For no reason. I was also told a power steering hose could do that to. I don't know. It didn't do it at all on the 30 mile trip home....

check you axle u-joints, You cant always tell just buy looking Sometimes the u-joints binds. If this is your problem, next time it does that, bring truck to a complete STOP and turn the steering wheel as fast as you can left, right, left, right. Jerk the wheel all the way to the left all the way to the right three or four times see if that frees things up temporary.

The joints don't turn with the hubs unlocked right? So would that do it then? I did take some liquid wrench lubricating spray and sprayed the shaft on the steering stabilizer. It does seem to be better if I work the wheel back and forth but the joints are quiet and smooth in 4wd.
