Batteries lost their credit card - can't charge.
Voltage to both pins on regulator, but no charge. I called the Irish for a direct replacement and they said "We don't have a reman Motorcraft in stock, but the new Ultima is cheaper". I don't think so. I want the alternator to say "gimme some batteries!" not "Aaaww... do I haftuh?"
Napa has reman Bosch with 2-year warranty. I'm leaning that way, unsure of when I can get it delivered to my lil' burg. (After 6:00 PM when I got to this.)
Input?

Current alternator under any warranty or was it OEM motorcraft?
My thoughts are rebuilts from the stores are all about equal (worthless). New is better, but still not equal to what came in the truck to begin with in terms of longevity (even if you go with Motorcraft).
I went with a new, higher amp version for the 6.0 last time I had to change mine out. (that I got from the Irish)

OEM - 13 years old. It was due. The battery light blinked a few time to let me know something was up, hooked up AE to see 11.7V. Tried a few things and the alternator tried to charge for a couple minutes, but finally died. All connections tight, no heavy drains (GPR off, AIH disconnected), no blown fuses, voltage where it belongs... just low.

Been a few months and it still cranks super strong.

I searched around for a good alternator when mine died a few months ago. I was going to rebuild my stock one but that wasn't very feasible. I just went with a new(non-reman) alternator from a parts store. They have a lifetime warranty and it is about the easiest thing to change on the whole truck so I don't care if it goes bad every year or two. It is also convenient that there is a AZ within a short driving distance pretty much anywhere in the country and they are open 7 days a week if it ever does need to be swapped out. I am sure there are much better options out there, but this was the easiest route to go in my opinion. If they really don't work out for you, just bring it back to the store and get a refund. Mine is holding up fine so far, but that could change tomorrow.

Food for thought, I had ordered a 215 amp Ambulance package alt for a 1997 E350..... ya it was HUGE it probably weighted 50+ pounds. I would have loved to have had it on the Excursion, but it had the wrong plug on it since it was a 1997..... learn something new everyday. That they changed plugs when they went to the Superduty. I guess... I tried finding a pig tail to go from the old to the new style so I would not have to hack up the factory engine harness... I could not make it happen locally, and the alt was dying fast.
I ended up at Napa and they had a 200 amp Alt for a 6.4 diesel 08' F250, it was 193 bucks plus a 70 core looks like all I have to do is swap pulley's and it will mount right up.
NAPA AUTO PARTS
I will be installing it tomorrow, as we had to go to a family party tonight.
My hope is if I don't have to work it at it's max amperage all the time it will last longer. Makes sense in my head anyway.
I just ran out and set it next to the old one.. Guys it looks like a perfect fit other then the pulley!
200amps swapped in for the 110 amp weak factory job... and the one on it now is a reman... go figure, it has already been replaced at least once before.
