Can't say I have heard of it, but I have always felt when I put a small load of a couple thousand #'s in the truck that it sat or sagged more then it should.

Found this web site on one of the forums. It's updated daily but they do roll off so need to check frequently.

Thanks for posting that TSB...I don't like what I just read. Glad I "fixed" this on my own.

Not sure what your concern is. F350 uses the 4" blocks. Only thing they dont seem to be adding is the overload leaf as well. Airbags are probably a better option, but Ford won't do that. Good luck getting this TSB done under warranty. Looks like a long list of expensive parts, and labor.

did you read the TSB? It's adding taller blocks and if you have a 1 piece drive shaft, you need to replace it. I call that a bandaid.

I can't see a dealer or Ford covering that one, surprised they released a TSB but stranger things have happened. So what's the magic weight that makes it sit lower than it "should"?

that tsb is foolishness.it's like ford doesn't even think how people use trucks.there is no need to jack the truck up with a taller block.the only thing that changes is the appearance in how much the springs are sagging.not how much they really are.the truck's sitting higher,therefore it'll just look like it's not sagging as bad on the load.they're trying to pull a jedi mind trick.
unfortunately,it's you lifting your items up into the bed,not those fools at the desk who wrote that foolishness.

for those that want to really address the issue,keep your ride height low for easier loading of your beds and decent fuel economy.no need to swap the other junk either.
simply take your truck in if you don't want to do it yourself and ask for exactly;
1.one more full length main leaf.
2.a double aux pack (custom bent if need be) to set slightly below the aux brackets so it doesn't hit over bumps,but not too less of an arch that they don't start holding her up too late when adding weight.then you'll have your cake and eat it too.possibly address the 45mph hop many experience at the same time.

That is what I meant to say, but didn't have time to type it out. It's been a crazy day and I've logged 8.0 hours on the phone since 7am. I'm shot.

I've only had my truck a month, so I'm going to call the dealer and see about having this done. It will save me the money of having to change the rear blocks myself.

This is all because of the weak springs for the soft chevy ride. Time to beef them back up like people need them to be.

Yep. Airbags or springs. Bottom line. Gotta truck make it ride like one.
