I am new so I may not be posting to the correct place.

Has anyone ever installed a back up camera in the Sport Trac and know what to buy and install. This should have been an option but Ford would not provide. My Sport Trac has Microsoft Sync, GPS and the related display biult in as well as an IPOD jack. I wanted to have the back up camera built into the display.

Welcome to FTE RNB2.

You're in the right place so someone should be along shortly to help you out. I've never installed a backup camera on one but some of these guys are bound to have done it.

 

Sounds like you need a backup camera and a Lockpick unit to integrate the camera video in to the navigation screen.

Thank you. The key word appears to be "Lockpick". found one link with a reference to "Lockpick", so I suspect that I will find others and be on my way to doing the installation. Thanks again.
