Don't have any good pics at the moment that highlight the tire fit. I'll go out in the morning and snap a few.

just put 285's on my truck from Treadwright.com... less than $150 a tire. i went with the guard dog mud terrain pattern, which might be good for on the farm.

Here are pics of 285/75r17. They are about a 1/2 inch taller than 285/70r17. The width is the same.

got a week on them now. they ride great.. I got the E rated version too. noise it typical mud tire; about the same as my MTZ's were.
