Im a new guy to this forum. I have a tire size question. What was the factory tire size that a 1963 Econoline pickup came with. I have the original wheels which are 14's. My dad has had the pickup since it was new and is wanting to do a semi-restoration on it. Any info will be gladly appreciated. Thank You.

 

Bias ply: 7.00 x 14 or 7.35 x 14 or 7.50 x 14.

NumberDummy once again your the man! We really appreciate the info. Now the big question is, where the heck can I find such a rare tire? Coker doesn't have them, already checked.

As for pictures, I'm going to post some, but my dad lives about 2 hours away from me and that is where the truck is. Next time I'm down there I will take lots of pictures.

 

Don't waste your time or $$ on ol' bias plys if you are only doing a semi-restoration, switch up to radials. Any tire shop should be able to cross reference the sizes up for you.
the bias ply tires ride rough and make for some pretty hairy steering situatioins.
