I have an 84 ford F150 with a 300. I am needing to replace my exhaust manifold and I have a new old manifold in a box that is pre 84 that uses an exhaust donut and the 84s and newer do not use a donut. Would the old style manifold fit my 84 by adding a donut or just bolt together but still keeping my current exhaust pipes?

nvm I got brave today and looked real hard at them and did it. I did a few simple modifications and it worked just fine. also how do I delete thread?

 

Ford updated the exhaust manifold part number EIGHT TIMES between 1965 and 1983.

1965/74 240, 1965/83 300 same. 1984 and later is different.
