i have a 1992 f-150 4.9 4x4 custom. when i pull the switch to turn the lights on the parking lights come on but not the headlights. if i wait a few minutes the headlights just pop on and stay on. common sense would say the switch is bad and i am looking to change it. all the other treads i found say the headlights come on but the parking lights do not. and they are saying a lot about the pigtail and fusable links. other than a switch does anyone have a suggestion? thanks.

 

On my 86 F250 that happened to me twice & both times a switch replacement fixed it.
