New to me 2004 Harley wheels w/ Goodyear silent armor

So I wanted to show off my new 04 Harley wheels and tires. Went with the Goodyear silent armors pro 275/65/18E. So far I really like this tire. They are super quiet and great in the snow. I got a great price on them too. My Ford dealer went online and found the best price he could and matched it. Plus free mount and balance till the end of march and some rebates.

Looking good! I really like the look of those 18"s, they seem like a natural fit for our EX's.

Thanks. The 18's do seem like a natural fit. 16's just seem a tad to small in my book. Here is a pic I took last year for comparison.

I agree about the 18" wheels. They look good on our rigs.

Did you have to use spacers?
Do you have any rubbing issues?

Your truck looks to be stock height.

No spacers. No rubbing. And yes truck is stock spring height. The 2004 Harley (also King Ranch wheels) 18's are the same offset as the ones I took off.

very nice. FYI, those tires are also pretty good in the rocks, and they work surprisingly well in the mud

amazing how rims can drastically change the look

Do the 18" wheels make the truck handle any different? Seems like with sportier vehicles the bigger wheels and shorter profile tire makes for better handling/cornering. Not that I have any plans on racing my excursion but wondered if there was a benefit other than the good looks.

Looking good!

I wish I could find a set of the HDs or King Ranch wheels. They are like a needle in the haystack.

H-D, KR or Lariat. The H-D's and KR's both have the little ridges around the rim inside the pocket holes, with gold paint inside the holes on the KR's, and of course the H-D logo on one spoke for the Harley ones. The Lariat version lacks the little ridges and has the inside of the pockets painted silver that matches the aluminum. My Lariat rims are polished as are all the other ones I have seen but I have read that there was also a version of these '04 rims that had a machined finish too.
