Heavy black to white smoke after 50 miles per hour

Just bought a 6.4 yesterday and may have just got burned on it. the truck is an 09 f350 6 speed manual with 190000 miles on it (paid 10500) didnt think it was a bad price drove it around for 20 min ran great no smoke or anything tons of power so I bought the truck was driving the truck home (400 mile drive) and after 70 mile the thing started smoking black then turned to white (enough to make the road behind disappear pulled over and truck started to knock a bit turned it off checked everything all fluids were good let it cool down started fine and worked great for about 10 more mile same thing happened and so on and so on and if i tried to start the truck right away it would just crank after the 4 time i slowed down to 50 miles per hour and it worked ok just slight black gray haze from tailpipe so i ended up driving the rest of the way home at 50 mph in a 70 zone added like 4 hours to my drive. The trucks DPF has been deleted and it has an sct chip guy said truck was only ever driven in the stock chip setting just did when he deleted the dpf and there is no codes being thrown either check engine light came on 2 times but went away. Not familiar with 6.4 but know 7.3 well can any one help me out here. Thanks

Degas bottle is full? No creep? This sounds like maybe EGR/EGR cooler related to me.

What code was it when the light came on?

Thanks for the reply that is kind of what I was thinking that or an injector sticking open the truck did have 3 codes 2 were the same one though can't remember exactly what ones searched the codes and just found those codes to be typical of running an stc chip but those are the only ones I noticed checked for codes again yesterday still no codes but the truck was running better but still smoking a decent amount while accelerating and chip is in stock mode - dpf I have also read about the chip possibly causing it too but not sure if that is true or not
