I was reading an article on which type of oil to use in a snowmobile 2 cycle engine and the new norm is to use API-TC or JASO FC certified 2 cycle oil.

I use TC-W3, walmart 2 cycle oil every tank to help clean the fuel side of the injector, but the API-TC or JASO FC would be better as this is what is now recommended for newer Snow sled. This oil resist to higher temperature.
