found 2004 Harley Davidson 18" Wheels for sale

If anyone is interested, as of late this afternoon, a set of four 2004 18" harley davidson wheels are for sale at:

Dyke's Auto Salvage
27148 Hwy 59
Worthington, MN 56187
800-658-2424 or 507-372-2936

I was quoted $1000 for the rims and center caps delivered. They sent me two photos, and the rims looked very nice. The wheels currently have older tires on them. I wasn't interested in the tires; I had no desire to pay shipping for wheels and tires, so I didn't ask for a price with the tires.

In the end, I did not purchase them as I found a set of non harley davidson 18" rims closer to home.

Call Dyke's and ask for Maralee.

Do the ones you found closer to home have the pocket holes painted gold or silver? And does the rim side of those pocket holes have the row of bumps or ridges?
Mine came with the silver and smooth.

Are those HD wheels 18x9 or 18x10's?

The ones I found a little closer to home are non-harley, non-painted, polished rims that are the same as the ones you have, (I am assuming the all silver wheels do not have painted silver pockets. If the all silver wheels do have painted pockets, I stand corrected. I have never seen any of these 2004 18" wheels in person).

My truck is desperately in need of new tires, however, I was going to get the 2004 18" wheels first. The harley wheel was my least favorite of the three 18" wheels offered that year, but if I had found them for the right price, I'd have mounted them on my truck and been happy. Between the two non-harley wheels, I might have preferred the painted pockets; my truck is black with gold trim, but I'm sure the non-painted, polished rims will look great, as is confirmed in the photos you posted of your truck. Thanks for taking the time to do that, because I looked at those pictures before I purchased mine.

QUESTION:
Any thoughts as to what size tire?
I am planning to mount a nice Michelin 275/70's on the 18" wheels.

My polished ones have the inside of the pockets painted a silver that really matches the color of the polished aluminum pretty well. I paid $550 for my set and they came with lug nuts, center caps and 3 Conti-tracs and 1 GoodYear Wrangler with between 40-90% tread in a 275/65 size. They are 32" tall, about .5" taller than our stock tire size. When I finally run these tires down some more I will be mounting a set of Nitto Dura-Grappler 305/70-18's that are 35" tall, those tires with my 4.88 gears will net an effective ratio of 4.39, should be a pretty good setup for towing heavy with the V-10!

Get in the habit of checking Craigslist everyday and be ready with a pocket full of cash to act quickly when they show up. I got mine off CL with the decent tires for $550 after I talked the seller down $150. Saw a set of the the KR ones about two weeks later for about the same price.
I'd like to find one more like mine to use as a spare.
Good luck, they are a perfect addition to our EX's!

Did you determine if the wheels you got have painted or polished windows?

It looks like the SKU for the Harley wheel is 4C3Z1007AC.

Do you know the SKU for the fully polished non-Harley wheel you found?

Looks great!

Are those the Harley Wheels with the standard Excursion hubs?

Are the Center Caps removable from the 2004 Harley wheels for the front 4x4 hubs on my 2002 4x4 Excursion?

Yes, the center caps on the '04 18" rims (all styles) are all removable just like the factory EX rims and the caps are all interchangeable, I am using my original caps from my factory 16" on my Lariat 18"s. the Lariat style rims have the same caps as the stock EXs, only the H-D and KR '04 rims have logo specific caps, but again they are the same as our stockers just with the logos instead of the Ford script.

No, those wheels will not require the use of spacers. Good luck on your search.
