Pressure doesn't mean volume, sounds like a restriction is still somewhere. It stalls because it's too lean.

I threw a coil at it and wasted my money. The last responce made me wonder. I just developed an exhaust leak I believe around my manifold.
I've checked everywhere but can't locate it. Is it possible it is causing the lean condition. Thanks

Unmetered air in the exhaust before the O2 sensor will make the PCM think the engine is running lean therefore it dumps in fuel to try and compensate.

Agreed but wouldn't it need to be a large leak? I had one gasket missing from just the number 4 header tube at the heads and I never had an issue like this. The truck was SD at the time but had a blower. The leak was pretty bad. If these are the cast manifolds, maybe there's a long crack.

Speed Density (SD) trucks are a little less sensitive to this than the OBD-I MAF trucks. OBD-II....VERY sensitive to exhaust leaks.

That does not mean the OP's truck will ignore the extra oxygen content in the exhaust. Keep in mind an exhaust leak will release burned gases, but it will also pull IN fresh air.

After about a month of frustration, the first thing I replaced(TPS) turned out to be defective. Running fine know. I almost gave up, but glad I didn't. Thanks for all the advice. Thanks

I had the same thing happen: a new one was bad. I suspected it was bad and took it off, it fell apart in my hands...cheap piece of ****

Glad you got yours fixed
