Hey Bill looks like the grille might have been painted or powder coated to match the wheels. Dupli color now makes chrome paint so you can paint old or update old chrome wheels. Anyway I just pulled 3 of the innie 8 lug non split 16s out of my local p$s. Strange thing is they are the exact same color as the ones on that truck. $40 for all three not to bad and had to give the counter guy a little school on old Ford wheels.

Truck has been painted. F O R D is missing from the upper grill valence. Whats up with the extended front bumper? Methinks Brad is a flipper full of excrement or just doesn't know much about these trucks. $4K tops if mechanical's are in order. IMHO.

Hi William If it is a true 61 the word Ford is part of the center bar in the grille itself. 62-63 have the Ford script on the upper grille housing. On my bigger pc at home it looks like there is part of a winch or something behind the front bumper. When I purchased my 63 4wd originaly the front bumper was moved forward to allow for a plow or a winch. I believe it was a pto winch as you can see on the framework notches cut to allow a drive shaft to clear the frame to come off ot the trans or transfercase. None of that was still with the truck when I got it.

Hey Old broke you should look around for someone parting one of the bigger slicks that had the steps on them outside the cab. It may be a bolt on propostion if you can find them.

Hey Jeff if that is an Alaskan pop up camper on the back of it. Then yes that part of it is calling out to me. Just a little to far to go to get it but it might be worth a call to see if he will separate them for a good price.

That's not a camper, is it? It's just a canopy if I'm looking at it correctly. I could have gotten this similar canopy when I bought my red truck but didn't really want it. It's in his back yard providing cover for his lawnmowers. I could probably still get it if he hasn't tossed it.

Yeah your probably correct TA455. Now that I think about it the Alaskan has a little more of the overhang up off of the body of the bed thats right down on it. Looks alot like a snazier model of the canopy you left behind.

That's some good pics you have there TA455HO I may have to agree being a canopy. I've been fooled before seen some slicks and bump sides with campers but looked almost like just a cap.

Alaskan campers are not "pop ups." Were cranked up, almost doubling their height.
