Lincoln Navigator

I have a 98 Nav and it starts great with no problems. The only thing is it stalls while idling and i know its not the transmission or the relay. What are my options?

Guess and a wild one- if there is no check engine light then I would guess the IAC. That would be the easest of problems to fix.

sounds like the butterfly valve, or IAC. idle air control? yeah, if tat thing is dirty inside or u gots a leak, then it'll affect ur idling and ur gas mileage too. i remember this cos i helped replace that butterfly valve on a crown vic. if the sensor or motor is out on the butterfly valve, i think there is no part for tat. u might have to buy the whole butterfly valve. but clean it up and see if it fixes the problem first.

but if u do have a check engine light, go to o'reilly's or autozone to scan for the code. with the code, it's much easier to pinpoint the solution to the problem.
