Consumer Reports

Hello my fellow 6.7 fans. Just wanted everyone to know that the car issue of Consumer Reports magazine is out. I didn't read anything other than the 2013 F-250 rating. It rated poor in reliability (don't know why) and rated outstanding customer satisfaction.

PS I did doughnuts in a field after bow shooting this weekend. My truck is a mess.

I think F-series reliability (as reported by their readers) was 88% below average.

I do agree with the general sentiment here about consumer reports. I’ve owned Lawn Equipment and Coffee makers where they rated them best and had issues with both. I don’t believe anything that they have to say about anything.

I just thought it was interesting that customer satisfaction was so high. I sure do love my truck.

I think of the super duty differently than other vehicles. Call me old school but you can barely find a vehicle with metal bumpers. I will never drive a small compact car (despite reliability) and sacrifice safety. I'd be just as happy in a rebuilt Bronco.

What butt wipe would say customer satisfaction was high. But yet with terrible reliability. Pure garbage.

Always cracks me up that reliability on a brand new, barely just released vehicle is rated horribly by them.

I'd be willing to bet the parking lot at Consumer Reports has zero trucks.

The shear arrogance in their writing turned me off years ago as well. Their system of rating stuff does not account for the "it fits, it ships" mentality of truck users.....

I'm almost positive it's because they get worked, beat on,etc. Just look at the guys here that post blown out trans, etc. with such low mileage. Tuners,Huge lift kits,Oversize tires,etc.. And because of that they suffer damage. If they were just daily drivers they'd rate higher.
