2002 Super crew information center. not working

Hi all. I just bought an 02 King Ranch SC. There is a smell lcd screen between dome lights in an overhead console in front of sunroof, should this display fuel mileage and other info? It isn't on at all. Any ideas on what may be the problem? Also I can't turn off overdrive with the button on end of shifter, any ideas on what's wong there? Thanks for any help

my CREW has the ambient temp and compass there. Some burn out a resistor on the board. Not too hard to fix, or change out with another on e-bay... they fix them..look.

That's how the KR is also. Are there any programers or monitors available that will give real time fuel economy and trip mileage?
