I just went with the HD NAPA shocks. Seems like a while ago...130-140k miles. They have been holding up well.

On the Excursion it has Bilstein 5100's It seems to ride nice for a mildly lifted truck.
Rancho has a rebate on now.. I am thinking of getting the RS9000XL shocks for the F450... see of it will ride any better, it has a nice bounce to it lately at slower speeds, and my front tires are starting to cup on the inside.

i got brand new front coil springs coming from Ford. they (suspension shops I've called such as Off Road Unlimited on Westheimer) say those alone will lift my truck about an inch. I'm sure my fairly new Monroe Gas charged something or another shocks will appreciate the help.

I bought the Monroe.... Only had them for a couple thousand miles with no complaints plus a reasonable price.

Bilstein yellow, like them a ton. Hear the drunk bumps but not feel them, good control empty or loaded, got the full set on sale for $186 delivered.
