Question Color Code

On the info plate for my 1972 F100 truck the paint color info is "6". Any ideas what color this is or what?

Question Color Code

Still Need help with finding out original info for my 1972 F100 Truck. The paint code on tag states "6". All color charts I.D. colors thru letters, not numbers. Who/where would be a good place/POC to find out original info for my truck?

Color Code

I appreciate the help brother and it did give me some info. However Still no answer do to the fact my color code is a number...not a letter. I think maybe my info tag has issues/wrong placed info.

Color Code

The chart links posted in the other thread are the same as the one I'm posting here. It shows '6' as 'Bahama Blue'.

Chose page 1

5th one down on the last row.

That's good info guys, thanks. (although the link wouldn't work for me). Is there a way to crack the code on tu-tone? My paint code is MR. I had assumed that underneath the $100 Green paint job I was going to find light/dark brown since the dash is a light brown, sort of bronze, color and in a couple of places where the paint is peeling it looks like a sort of rootbeer color underneath. But, M is Wimbledon White.....with 'Regular', 'Deluxe' and 'Combination' in the mix, I'm wondering if there is a way to figure out what it looked like new without scraping paint in three different areas of the body.
