Looking for a full system for the 351w. I have some shorty heads but no system to go with them. They are not the best ones so I might by new ones. Any particular brand I should get???

 

The guys here will tell you I am a huge fan of Bassani products (something about a stainless system that has lasted 11 years and counting). There are other products as well but I know both Bassani and Magnaflow? (I could be remembering the other manufacturer incorrectly), make a decent Y-pipe with the correct O2 sensor location in them. And before you can ask, I would suggest that yes, a good 3" single exhaust system will perform every bit as well as "duals" and be less of a PITA to route under the short-wheelbased Bronco that has a t-case, front driveline, and long transmission in the way under there. I know the Bassani system routes in the OEM configuration and uses the same hangers. Others may as well. (I only have experience with what I own). The

Bassani shorty headers are a direct fit replacement for the OEM manifolds albeit they take up a bit more space, they bolt to both the heads and the OEM exhaust without the need for modification. (Again, other products may be as good and work in the same manner, I only have experience with Bassani)
