Where Can I Get 95 F150 2WD Pitman Arm/Center Link Balljoint?
Hello All just got my first F150 and I came here seeking some advice
95 F150 2WD XLT, extended cab, Auto Trans, 5.8L
I have a lot of play in the steering wheel. I replaced both front bearings and it helped a lot, and the tires do not have any more play in them. However the steering wheel still wanders. I found the problem to be where the pitman arm connects to the center link. This ball joint is toast. A coolant leak constantly dripping, right on it, made this joint go bad very fast. Is there anywhere that I can buy just this ball joint? If so where and what would it be called? I can buy the whole center link rod with the joint on it but I really dont need it. I only need the rubber joint.
This truck has the twin I-beam suspension and the center link is not traditional. It comes together like a triangle with the peak being where the pitman arm connects to the center link. I should have taken a picture but I am sure a lot of you know how it looks.
