Kind of hard to tell with the only the close picture, but it looks like a PCV valve. Cheap part you can get from any parts store. Just check online first so you can give them the part number.

They could be right. Even if ford doesn't sell it, I'd bet you could find an aftermarket one through NAPA or Advance Auto Parts. Probably made by Fram or Purolator or something.

It's right on top of a valve cover right? That's what it looks like because of where can see the throttle linkage in the side of the picture. They put PCV valves or breathers in valve covers to let combustion gasses out of the crankcase. In the case of a PCV valve, you actually have engine vacuum sucking those gasses out of the crankcase. The confusing thing about what you have there is that there are multiple hoses off of it. A PCV valve usually has only one port, and that's for vacuum.
Where do the other hoses go? Do you have engine vacuum from one of the hoses?
