37" tires & H&S mini max transmission tune w/ new firmware

I was updating the firmware on my mini max tuner today and decided to calibrate for the 37" tires. After calibration was done I got the code P1635, which is "Tire/Axle Out of Acceptable Range". What are your thoughts on this? Should I bring it back down to 34" where the FORD ECU stops calibrating? I mite have lost traction control with this calibration as well. Mite find out tomorrow if I get an itchy foot. Truck seemed to drive better and pull harder off the line....low rpm's.

Was the Speedo right though? That's the main thing. I can live with a CEL if the Speedo was right. I'd love to have 37s and have the Speedo right.

I'll do some testing tomorrow and post what I find speedo wise.

What firmware version are you running? I don't recall an option to run 37's. Must have added it in the 6.7.30 release but they didn't say anything about new features. I'll have to check mine out tomorrow.

Correct, I have the 6.7.30 version uploaded. Yes you can calibrate tire sizes, it even lets you do it by 2 decimal places(37.00). Not sure how high you can go. I plan on doing some service on the truck today and playing around with it a bit more.

I'm on v 6.7.28 and can only go to 34.10" I might have to check that out later. I'd like to get the speedometer working accurately, but I'm not off by much now. It's tolerable. Thanks for getting back to us...

oil and water > 140*
Water < 220*
Oil < 210*
Tranny < 200*
Boost 28psi

I'm pretty conservative with my defueling settings.

Thank you sir. Apparently I do not have the H&S pyro setup so I needed to turn off Pyro 1, it kept bumping me back down to stock/limp mode.

Thanks! Loving it, today I tried to recalibrate the tires and I could only take it to 35.1 like you said. Did you tune the transmission with the recent firmware update? I did and I now notice what seems to be tranny solenoid noise. The truck drives great, no DTC's but the noise has me thinking I need to replace the faulty solenoid. I'll try to get a video uploaded of it to see what ya'll think. It's not crazy loud but I want to catch it early if it is.

I did the transmission reprogramming and love it. No issues with anything....sorry you are having issues.

The truck is driving great, shifts are smooth but this noise has me wondering. What do you guys think?

Got in the truck today and actually had to use the A/C.....it didn't blow cold. I've had the truck for about a month and I'm going through it with a fine tooth comb. It amazes me how someone would spend almost 100K on a truck and upgrades and doesn't maintain it at all. No sense of hard work and money or just pure laziness in my opinion.

I have no really ideas...just a lot of maybe's. I'd take it to the dealer and have them take a look at it.
