Lightbulb What lights are the best Poll?

So guys and gals. What are your favorite lights to brighten up the trail and road and why? How many do you have and what are you backing them up with (battery, bigger alternator, isolator, ect)?

What lights are the best Poll?

I'm running Hellas, (2) 550 driving, (2) 550 fog, 2 backup. If cost were no object (yeah, right!) I'd be running Cibie Super Oscars, but they're way 'spensive. The Hellas are low power 9(55w ea.) so the stock alternator is enough. Use relays.

What lights are the best Poll?

Alright, since I started this thread I better put down what I have.

On my 95 F-150 I'm running 4 med lightforce on the front bumper and 4 big lightforce on the light bar. My 2 KC's lights bright up tailgaters when they don't burn out. I am running a heavy duty Wilson alternator pumping out 130 amps. Power sent to an isolator which splits a red and yellow optimas. The enitire aux power system can be tunred off by one switch that runs a solenoid so incase theres ever a problem. From the solenoid it runs to a fuse block and then out to relays. I have it set up so I can turn on each set of 2 individually or turn all them on and off via the high beam switch.

I chose lightforce cause there lightweight (helps keep light bars from vibrating in the wind) and they put out light like none other. I can also change out lenses for different situations. You can focus them like a Mag light. The way they test them is also different from how KC andother test there. Lightforce gets there candlepower rating from running the light under normal power and taking a reading that way. KC and some others pump a lot of power to the bulb blowing it which gets really bright and they take there reading from that. And the Lightforce can take rocks. I broke my KC's a few times from toher cars before they came on the market.

I have a couple of Bosches with Brinkmann Xenon 110W "MaxMillion" bulbs in them, but I keep breaking the lenses. I gotta either add some protection, or quit knocking down trees. Hmmm... I guess it's time for some welding.

Eventually, I'd love some Hellas or PIAAs, but I think I'll wait to see how the LED systems develop.
