Well you did mention that you might have a lot of what I needed in your garage.
I am still trying to find a yard around Vegas that still has these older trucks.
Most yards scraped them when metal prices went up.
That and it made more room for their rubbermade vehicles.

I'll try and see what I can dig up at home. I just have to make sure I won't need anything. But, I'm planning to change out the entire dash, so most of it should not be needed.

Greg, I checked my parts area and came up with nothing for an early truck. There is a JY about 10 mi. North of town on 160 but I can't remember anything that old ... but I will keep my eyes open for you.
I came into town Sunday AM ... a quick trip to get the blue card process going for the gun I'm buying up there... left @ 9:15 back at 12:45 ... like I said a quick trip
G'day to all in @ on FTE hope everyone had a safe weekend ... green beer and all !!!

Dave- hows the new truck doing? You did get it back from the shop didn't you?
You should let me know when you come to town so we can try and meet up if you have time.

Greg you know about LMC Truck right? They have a ton of stuff for your year truck. Not sure how much you want to spend or how desperate you are to get every little piece, but I am sure they have it. I ordered catalogs from them (they are free) when I was thinking of getting that truck. However, they do seem to be a bit high, but I have nothing to compare them to.

I have multiple catalogs but I am not looking for brand spanking new shiny stuff.
I would like it to be part complete but not show quality.
Most aftermarket parts catalogs wants gold for their parts.
I cannot afford that kind of thing.
Only new and shiny will be parts that effect drivability and safety.
This is why I rely of the good nature of those on FTE and the junkyards.

Good morning Nevada, happy Tuesday! I've had some problems with LMC on their parts. I've had to send some stuff back, because it doesn't fit. I'll go to them only if I have no one else to go through!

Morning all, looks like another lovely day in Vegas.
Been able to sleep with the bedroom window open. I love this time of year.

As far as catalogs I have LMC, Dennis Carpenter, Mac's, and NPD that are truck specific.
Plus Jegs, Summit, Parts Express, Painless wiring, and Crutchfield.
I have heard lots of bad things from others about problems with service and parts from LMC, so will only use that as a last option.
I will only be getting catalog parts for things I have to have and can't find other ways.
I am on a shoestring budget but I am down to the aglet. There are still things that will pop up to be done on the truck.
So I am trying to be as miserly as possible with those funds.
As much as I want the truck to be part complete, driving and safe are the main focus.

I did finish the turn signal repair and posted the updates to my truck thread if anyone cares to see.
I also have the new speedo gear installed but I am unable to test it until my radiator gets here later this week.

I hear you on the catalogs. When I got my first LMC catalog I almost had a stroke after seeing some of their prices. It is interesting to hear about problems with them. I was going to buy their tube grille and headlight upgrade, but now i am wondering if I should look elsewhere.

Morning everyone, I hope you weeks are going well and the temps are becoming more comfortable.
Not real sure what I will be doing today.
Probably camping out on the couch again.
Not really much I can do on the truck that doesn't require a lot of bending and twisting.
I might see how comfy it is laying in the floor of the truck and clean up more of the wiring.
