Good morning Nevada, welcome to Tuesday!

Donna, I'm sorry to hear about Jimmy's sister. It's just so tough, knowing that you'll be losing someone, and trying to figure out the best way to deal with it is incredibly stressful. Prayers to you and the family through this tough time.

Morning everyone, I hope you have a great day.

Donna, it's never easy loosing someone, but it helps when you can say goodbye.
We will keep you in out thoughts.

Heading up to DMV this morning to get my truck officially in my name and legal!

EDIT: I just noticed my garage is gone for me. Can anyone else see it?

No, no garage. I have been to the DMV at Stephanie and American in Henderson and man that place is busy. Hope you don't have a long wait.

WooHoo! I am officially mobile. Got the truck titled and tagged.
Now to go figure out why it wired so nothing electrical works unless its running.

Donna you are welcome to stow away any time . Sorry about Jimmy's sister, I've lost a lot of family & friends to cancer, it always sucks.

Thanks Bruce I will. We're sitting around camp right now waiting for the steaks to cook!

Greg your garage shows up on my screen.

Donna, I lost my dad to an enlarged heart (due to smoking most of his life) and my mom to cancer. It is not pleasant, but as previously stated it is a fact of life. Mom was in no pain when she passed, don't know about dad. Still, it is comforting to know they are in Heaven, and I will be there eventually. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Jim

Morning all, I hope everyone has a great day.

Well as far as the truck goes I got some things fixed and taken care of and discovered other issue.
I now have the truck where it will crank from the key and not have to arc the solenoid.
That was the main thing I was needing to fix for convenience.
I got the new door locks in and re-situated the speedo cable behind the cluster.
Before testing the the new cable position I noticed a thin green line across the base of the upper tank on the radiator.
There is a 10 inch crack in the radiator. Looks as though it had been covered and sealed with years of dirt and sitting.
Apparently having fresh full levels of water/coolant washed through the years of debris.
So fixing that will be my next step.

Goodmorning all,

Happy Hump Day!

Thanks for all of the thoughts & prayers. We sure needed them yesterday. Jimmy's sister was in alot of pain, as her hospice nurse hadn't been there yet to give her her Morphine. Jimmy & I made our visit really quick - a hug, kiss & we'll miss you...Love you. She said..."I know you will, love you too & it'll all be ok." We left fairly quickly after that, so she wouldn't get upset seeing us cry. Poor Jimmy took it pretty hard & was doing his best to hold it together.
Karl & Kaedon didn't get to go in to see her though. She didn't want to have them upset by seeing her that way. Cammy, Nathan & Athena didn't get too either, but they understood & respected her wishes. Kaedon kinda saw her & said goodbye in passing on her way to use the restroom & they did wave & smile to each other. Before I walked out of the room, I asked her to let us know it was her if she ever came back as a guardian angel. She smiled & told me she'd definately make sure that we knew!

Have a great day everyone.
