I'd probably give $1500 for it--if it came with a $2000 gas card...

I see you are from the SOUTH too, around here our pickup trucks hold their value pretty well.

I would hate to see the looks on some of these guys faces if they saw what a yota or jeep 4x4 went for around here lol.

(not that a toyota or jeep 4x4 compare to a ford 4x4 but you get the point!)

Yeah, it's definitely a regional thing. I'm from WI. Here you'd be lucky to see $2500. But I guess that's good for you if you can fetch more money where you're at.

It`s almost pointless to ask, answers out your area will be all over the map as you`ve seen.
For less than $2,500 all there is around here is ones needing TLC.

Not true at all.

I bought my 86 for $1000. It had 150k miles and just needed TLC. No rust, No issues at all. Never had to put any money into it. Even though I did ( 3/5 drop, stereo, full exhaust, ect) But those things didn't count.

Wish I would have never sold it...

When I was in Oregon I bought a 77 GMC 3/4 ton long bed 4x4 for $300. No rust, completely road ready. Great condition inside and out. That was at an auction though, great deal.
