you could test them through the connector....i dont remember if its power to ground or vise versa.....someone more nutty will chime in im sure!

Well thought i.did good till i drove it. Smoking white real bad and sounds awful. What did i do wrung. Still has good power until i try to pull out

did you mess with the injector harnesses under the valve cover? im still leaning toward the connector/harness from my experience recently

The new uvch comes with the plugs for the injectors don't it? Im guessing i wrired plus rong on out side.

yea,my new valve covers came with everything....these are where my problem was, i remember a member saying his truck ran ok at idle and shoke/had low power with a missing injector
glow plugs are outer most ports....

when you did the glowplugs, you may have left/knocked of an injector connector, or the pins on the valve cover, or that connector may be screwed up or burnt. did you disconnect anything else

Yea i replaced pig tails, replaced all connectors under vc

Sounds like you may have wired the pigtail wrong

Got a good scanner, says idm at fault, miss firing ever other cylinder

Yea, got to looking at it and had the wires crossed.runs great now
