Level a F-350 4x4

I have been kicking around the idea of leveling my 2008 F-350 DRW4x4. I looked around and found a few kits. All I want to do is lift the front to level because I pull a 5er. I found a few kits that vary in size, how much do I need? 2 or 2.5?

Kind of hard for us to say, since we can't see the truck.

Use a tape measure on the wheel wells, figure out the difference and there you go. Hook up the 5ver and measure again to figure out how high in the air the nose will be when you load the truck down.

There is a lot more than just "seeing it". I would start by mesuring and then going from there. I have only 2" on my diesel. I was going to do 2.5" but I always have something in the bed or a trailer on it.

This is my truck with 2" level and 35"s tires.

i say dont do it! If you pull a fiver you have some massive weight on the back of your truck, when you level it and then tow your rear is gonna be extra low. After i leveled my 2004 F350 it looked good then ever time i loaded the bed with wood, dirt etc it sat too low for me, then i added a rear add a leaf to get the back a 1" higher and to add some payload....now im at the point where im like hell i otta just do a 4" lift with 35's

I am on the fence about it. I don't think my 5er will allow for me to lift it 4 inches.

It doesnt really sag that much when I have it hooked up. I don't think that will be a problem. I can make my "pucks" as big or as small as I want. I have a lathe and a mill, so even if its some odd ball measurment it won't be a problem.

I measured it today, the front is 2 1/16 lower than the front. My truck drops 1 1/18 when I hook up the 5er. If i make my spacers 1 1/8th it will ride level when loaded but still have a rake to it.

is a 2 inch leveling kit really 2 inches? Or is it like a shackle lift, you get a 4 inch shackle to lift it 2 inches.

I went with the 2.5" on mine. If you don't like the stance with your 5er on it, get some air bags.
