Accident in my 98 Expedition and other updates
Well I was involved in basically fender bender a couple of weeks ago. Some dude from chicago in the philly metro area side swipes my vehicle in a little 2003 Sentra. Well anyway I have a nice elongated dent going from under my expedition emblem right side panel to my passenger rear door. Only damage to said Sentra is the driver mirror damage. My work is estimated to cost about 1200. Of course this is an on going argument on whom hit whom. Any ways, I didn't get the work done yet, not sure if I'm going to keep her or what. I really love this truck but some much "life" going on right now.
I found a v10 excursion for 14k with 118k on it. Not sure if I want it or not. Really have my heart set on a diesel one, love the sound of diesel, but not sure. Plus with us getting ready to move to closer to one of my job sites. It wouldn't kill us at the pump. Will do more research before I go for the gold.
More notable, my sweet heart just rolled over 200,000 about 178 miles ago. With driving about 160 - 200 miles a day will do that.
I started using Mobile 1 10w-30 full synthetic instead of Motorcraft's 10w-30 synthetic blend. Figure with all the miles going on her should really love her something special. Also she has 4 new Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires so no more slipping in the rain or snow for my sweety. Of course I loss my 17 mpg and it is now about 13-14, but with my me traveling a lot and the roads not being forgiving. I know my family is worth every penny; I spent and have lost in mpg.
Just thought I keep everyone updated since I haven't posted in away.
