Anyone have a rifle rack in the ex? I have an idea to build one, but want to see some of y'all's.

 

Oh yeah, me too. I had a ceiling mounted rifle rack in my F350 and I'm considering one for the X but with the big stuff my wife hauls... well I'm worried it may get in the way.

I remember a pic of slide out drawers that held guns and ammo. I thought it was pretty neat!

Ok.... I just spent WAY to long looking through that Galls site... damn I wish I had money lol.

 

I'm liking the roof mounts. I guess I need to see what's under the head liner.

 

Be careful with any roof mount in the second row or back, the air vent ducts are built into the headliner back there

Then my buddies Jeep has the plastic quad rifle cases mounted inside. I liked it a lot as the back door has to be opened to open the rifle case. It meets all 50 states regs for hunting and is safe around kids too. The new cases have plastic loops for a padlock to secure the rifle as well. Yes it is just plastic but painted to match the interior it is hard to see from the outside.
