my wts light wont come on and truck wont start

heres what happend, my mom was using my truck wich is a 99 f50 with a 7.3 l diesel, she was letting it warm up while she was loading up the wood stove and she said that is just died on her and now it won't start. I tryed starting it and everything souns right is crank over and every thing but the wait to start light won't come on and it won't even attempt to pop off, I checked the # 22 fuse and it lookes fine. I don't know where to go from here, any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont know much about diesels

You need to post this over in the oil burners forums.

This is for the F-150 gas fueled users.
Someone here might know the answer but the Diesel heads will be able to help you much faster.

BTW Welcome to FTE.

Doesn't look like this post was moved.

Welcome to FTE.

Try looking at fuse # 30. If that is blown, your fuel bowl heater has likely shorted out. You will need to unplug the fuel bowl heater from the back of the fuel bowl,(electrical connection low in back) then replace the fuse. Good luck.

I am thinking the same thing as Dean....likely blown fuse due to fuel bowl heater.

Here is a picture of the plug you need to disconnect before replacing the fuse.
