HELP! I have had complete memory lose.
I changed the cam and lifters on my 68 f250 w/390 but had to stop before completing the job.
I have the cam and lifters installed, intake manifold on and the timing chain, gear and cover on.
But now I am a complete loss. I can't find the timing pointer or its mount screw.
I think my pup may have taken some of my parts.
I am afraid to go any further, I have a true memory block, I had a stroke a few years ago that affects my memory at times.
I have a 72 with a 360, but it looks different.
Antone have pictures of what should go on next and how to make sure the front oil seal is right?
I would gladly pay someone in the area for help.
Thanks,
Ray

No ideas? I have manuals, but they just say to do the reverse of removal.
This is very disturbing to me, any pictures of the front end of the motor would help. I just need to see how it goes back together.
Thanks

Where can I get a new screw/bolt that holds the pointer on the timing cover, I found the pointer.
