When I went to Biodiesel, I swapped out the OEM steel tanks with plastic replacement tanks; and it did not even occur to me upgrade the brand-new gasket used in the sensor and fuel piping flange.

Well, they're gushing mass quantities at fill up time now. I thinks these gaskets were probably rubber--the tanks were made for gasoline and petrodiesel.

Anybody have any suggestions for easily obtainable material? I'm thinkin' a roll of material--I need to cut 3 of these-they're circular, 4-5 inches OD, flat, minimum of 1/8" thick--best of my recollection.

Something I have done is used silicone sheet to make gaskets. You might be able to find it cheaper somewhere else, but if you go to the cookware section in a Target or Walmart, they have silicone baking pans, cookie sheets, etc. If I remember right, I found a brownie pan on sale for $6-$7. The ones I have found are about 1/8" thick, easy to cut, and better yet, easy to find.
